1. Introduction
Welcome to the Incentiv testnet (the “Testnet”, “Incentiv Testnet”) made available by Incentiv.2. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using the Testnet, you (“User”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Agreement” or “Terms”) and to our Privacy Policy as published on https://incentiv.io/ (the “Privacy Policy”) and any other agreements or terms as set forth by the Incentiv. These Terms constitute a binding obligation between you and Incentiv. If you do not agree, you should not participate in the Testnet. The Agreement applies to your access to and use of the websites, platform, software, technologies, features, and other online products and services (collectively, the “Services”) provided or made available by Incentiv. YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE TESTNET IS ENTIRELY VOLUNTARY. IF YOU ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE TESTNET, YOU MUST STRICTLY ADHERE TO THESE TERMS.3. Purpose of the Testnet
The Testnet is an experimental environment designed for testing the functionality, security, and performance of the Incentiv Blockchain, its applications, features, capabilities and ecosystem, as applicable. It may be subject to frequent updates, modifications, and resets. ALL TOKENS USED ON THE TESTNET ARE FOR TESTING PURPOSES ONLY AND HAVE NO REAL-WORLD VALUE. The Testnet is designed to improve the operational experience, security, and design of the Protocol Mainnet (“Mainnet”) and to expose potential issues and to improve participant experiences prior to the Mainnet launch of the Protocol.4. Eligibility
By participating in the Testnet, you represent and warrant that:- You are at least 18 years old or the legal age in your jurisdiction.
- You have the full authority to accept these terms.
- You are not the subject of sanctions administered or enforced by any country or government or otherwise designated on any list of prohibited or restricted parties (including but not limited to the lists maintained by the United Nations Security Council, the U.S. Government (including but not limited to the Office of Foreign Assets Control), the European Union or its Member States, or other applicable government authority) or a citizen or organized or resident in a country or territory that is the subject of country-wide or territory-wide sanctions (including without limitation Cuba, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions, Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus, Iran or Syria);
- You are not barred from participating under any applicable laws, statutes, ordinances, rules, regulations, judgments, injunctions, orders and decrees (“Applicable Laws”);
- You will not use a virtual private network (VPN) or other tool to circumvent any geo block or other restrictions that we may have implemented for participants in the Testnet;
5. Duration of the Testnet
The Testnet will commence on the date prescribed by Incentiv and will continue until terminated by Incentiv in its sole discretion (“Testnet Period”). Notwithstanding any other information provided by Incentiv regarding the Testnet including on its website, blog posts or through other communications (including but not limited to Telegram, Discord, X (formerly Twitter), Reddit or other channels), Incentiv may change, discontinue, or terminate, temporarily or permanently, all or any part of Testnet, at any time and without notice, at its sole discretion, including prior to providing any Rewards – (collectively, “Rewards”) if applicable.6. No Financial or any Real-World Value of Tokens
Tokens made available on or through the Testnet (“Testnet Tokens”) do not represent actual assets, are not redeemable for any currency, have no financial value nor any other value. Testnet Tokens shall never convert to or accrue to become Protocol Mainnet Tokens or any other tokens, virtual assets or any other form of value. Testnet Tokens do not constitute any currency or property of any type and are not redeemable, refundable, or eligible for any fiat or virtual currency or anything else of value. Testnet Tokens are not transferable outside of the Testnet, and you may not attempt to sell, trade, or transfer any Testnet Tokens outside of the Testnet, or obtain any manner of credit using any Testnet Tokens. Any attempt to sell, trade, or transfer any Testnet Tokens outside of the Testnet will be null and void.7. Token Management
Incentiv may, in its sole discretion, decide to delete, wipe or otherwise remove the Testnet or the Testnet Tokens at any time without notice, including, without limitation, the modification of the presence, amounts, or any other conditions applicable to the Testnet Tokens, without any liability to you or other Testnet users. Incentiv does not guarantee that Testnet Tokens will continue to be offered for a specific length of time and you may not rely upon the continued availability of any Testnet Tokens. If the Testnet expires or terminates, you acknowledge and agree that your access to and use of your Testnet Tokens will be removed, and all accrued Testnet Tokens will be deleted from the Testnet system. Testnet Tokens will not be converted into any future Rewards offered by Incentiv.8. No Guarantees and Disclaimers
- The Testnet is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties.
- The Testnet may experience failures, downtime or security vulnerabilities.
- The developers of Incentiv are not liable for any losses, damages, or disruptions resulting from the use of the Testnet.
9. Prohibited Activities
Users must not:- Exploit vulnerabilities, bugs, or security flaws for malicious purposes.
- Use the Testnet for illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.
- Attempt to exchange, sell, or monetize Test Tokens.
- Attempt to exchange, sell, buy or transfer any other tokens into the Testnet or any wallet created on the Incentiv Testnet. Such activity is most likely to result in a permanent loss of the transferred assets.
10. Data Collection and Privacy
By using the Testnet, you acknowledge and agree that certain data, such as transaction records and technical logs, may be collected for analysis and improvement of Incentiv. In our efforts to provide helpful resources, we may include links to third-party service providers on our website or through the Testnet. Please be aware of the following:- No Endorsement: We do not endorse or make any representations about these third-party services. The inclusion of any link does not imply our approval or recommendation.
- User Responsibility: It is the user’s responsibility to review and understand the privacy policies and terms of service of any third-party provider before engaging with their services. We encourage you to read these policies to understand how your personal information may be collected, used, and shared.
- Limited Control: We have no control over the practices or performance of these third-party services and cannot be held liable for any consequences arising from your use of them, including but not limited to any performance issues, service outages, or data breaches. Any interactions you have with these providers are solely between you and the provider, and we are not responsible for any issues that may arise.
