Mystery Boxes are surprise reward items in Incentiv that let you turn XP into real rewards. Each box you open can grant XP, $CENT, boosters, or special perks. Mystery Boxes are consumable, meaning once you open them, the reward is revealed and applied instantly. Here’s how Mystery Boxes work and how to use them effectively.

What’s Inside a Mystery Box

Each Mystery Box pulls a randomized reward from the Prize Pool. Possible rewards include:
  • XP rewards (10–200+ XP)
  • $CENT tokens
  • Boosters (XP multipliers like 1.1x, 1.2x, up to 2x+)
  • Special perks that appear under Active Perks

Accessing Mystery Boxes

Step 1: Open the Mystery Boxes Page

  • Click the Mystery Box icon in the top navigation, or open the Mystery Boxes section from the sidebar.

Step 2: Check Your Inventory

  • Boxes you own and can open
  • Boxes available for purchase
  • Previously opened boxes showing their rewards
  • If you have unopened boxes, the gift icon will animate to notify you. Mystery Boxes Inventory

Purchasing a Mystery Box with XP

Mystery Boxes are purchased using XP.

Step 1: Click 'Purchase'

  • Select a Mystery Box that you don’t own yet.

Step 2: Review Cost

  • XP cost
  • Your current XP balance Purchase Mystery Box

Step 3: Confirm Purchase

  • If you have enough XP, confirm to purchase the box.
  • Your XP is deducted and the box is added to your inventory instantly.
  • If you don’t have enough XP, the system will block the purchase. Purchase Mystery Box

Opening a Mystery Box

Step 1: Click 'Open Mystery Box'

  • Select a box you own and click Open.
  • The modal shows:
    • XP cost to open
    • Your XP balance Mystery Box Animation

Step 2: Reveal Animation

  • You’ll see an opening animation while the transaction confirms. Mystery Box Animation

Step 3: Reward Applied

  • The box is marked as Opened
  • Your reward is revealed
  • XP, $CENT, or perks are applied automatically

Weekly & Monthly Jackpots

Mystery Boxes also connect to jackpots.

Step 1: View Jackpot Cards

  • Scroll down to see Weekly and Monthly Jackpot cards.

Step 2: Track Your Tickets

  • Boxes may grant tickets automatically. The UI shows:
    • My Tickets
    • Total Entries
    • Time until next draw

Step 3: Watch for Draws

  • Jackpots draw automatically when the countdown ends.

Tracking Your History

Step 1: Check Live Winnings

  • See recent wins from you and other users.

Step 2: Review Opened Boxes

  • Opened boxes display their reward directly on the box card.

Step 3: Refresh Data

  • Use the Refresh button to sync the latest inventory and prize pool data.

Start by earning XP through basic actions and badges. Use that XP to purchase and open Mystery Boxes, unlock boosters, earn $CENT, and activate perks that help you progress faster. Every box is a chance to level up your Incentiv journey.
