# Incentiv Onboarding

Welcome to **Incentiv Onboarding**, your complete guide to setting up and accessing the Incentiv ecosystem.

Here, you’ll learn how to create or connect a wallet using **Passkey**, **MetaMask**, or **WalletConnect**, whichever fits you

    Create a secure, passwordless **Incentiv Smart Wallet** using your device’s built-in security.

      <Step title="Step 1: Select Passkey">
        On the welcome screen, choose **Passkey** as your preferred method to create or access your Incentiv Smart Wallet.

        This option lets you set up a secure, passwordless wallet tied to your device’s biometric authentication.

      <Step title="Step 2: Choose a Name">
        1. Next, you will be asked how we should call you.
        2. Enter your preferred **display name**, or click **“Decide for me”** to generate one automatically.
        3. Once ready, click **Continue** to proceed.

      <Step title="Step 3: Verify with Biometrics">
        1. You will be prompted to create your wallet using your device’s **biometric authentication** or **PIN**.
        2. Tap **“Verify my ID”** and confirm using **Face ID**, **Touch ID**, or your system’s secure method.
        3. Your wallet will be instantly generated and safely stored under your passkey credentials.

      <Step title="Step 4: You're All Set">
        Your Incentiv Smart Wallet is now active and securely bound to your device.

        You can use it to access Incentiv, participate in activities, and claim rewards with one click.

    ## Mobile Set-up

      <Step title="Step 1: Open the Portal">
        1. Open your mobile browser.
        2. Go to **portal.incentiv.io**.
        3. On the welcome screen, select **Passkey**.

      <Step title="Step 2: Choose a Name">
        1. Enter your preferred **display name**.
        2. Or tap **Decide for me** to auto-generate one.
        3. Tap **Continue**.

      <Step title="Step 3: Verify with Biometrics">
        1. Tap **Verify my ID**.
        2. Confirm using **Face ID**, **Fingerprint**, or your device PIN.
        3. Your Smart Wallet will be created instantly.

      <Step title="Step 4: You're All Set">
        1. Your Incentiv Smart Wallet is now active and securely tied to your device.
        2. You can now participate in activities and earn rewards with one tap.

  <Tab title="Connect using MetaMask">
    If you already use MetaMask, you can easily connect it to Incentiv network.

    Everything starts at the [Incentiv Portal](https://portal.incentiv.io)

      <Step title="Step 1: Choose MetaMask">
        On the welcome screen, click **MetaMask** as your preferred wallet option.

        This option connects your Incentiv account directly to your MetaMask browser extension or mobile app.

      <Step title="Step 2: Choose a Name">
        1. You will be asked how we should call you.
        2. Enter your preferred **display name**, or click **“Decide for me”** to automatically generate one.
        3. Then click **Continue**.

      <Step title="Step 3: Approve the Connection">
        1. You will see a **progress screen** while the connection request is sent to your MetaMask wallet.
        2. Check your **MetaMask popup or browser extension** and approve the connection request.

      <Step title="Step 4: Add Incentiv Network">
        1. Once connected, MetaMask will prompt you to **Add the Incentiv**.
        2. Click **Approve** to confirm.

        This ensures your wallet is correctly configured to interact with the Incentiv  environment.

      <Step title="Step 5: You’re All Set">
        Your MetaMask wallet is now connected to Incentiv.

        You can start interacting with the portal, exploring dApps, and earning rewards.

    <Tip>
      **Pro Tip:** If the connection doesn’t appear immediately, open MetaMask manually and check for pending requests under Connected Sites.
    </Tip>

    ## Mobile Set-up

    Make sure you have the **MetaMask mobile app** installed before starting.

      <Step title="Step 1: Add Incentiv as a Custom Network">
        1. Open your **MetaMask mobile app**.
        2. Tap the **network selector** at the top.
        3. Tap **Add Network**.
        4. Choose **Add a custom network**.
        5. Fill in the required details:
           * Network Name
           * RPC URL
           * Chain ID
           * Symbol
           * Block Explorer URL
        6. Tap **Save**.

      <Step title="Step 2: Open the Incentiv Portal Inside MetaMask">
        1. Your MetaMask wallet is now configured to interact with Incentiv.
        2. Inside the MetaMask app, tap the **browser icon**.
        3. In the search bar, enter **portal.incentiv.io**.
        4. Open the Incentiv Portal within the MetaMask in-app browser.

      <Step title="Step 3: Start Onboarding">
        1. On the welcome screen, tap **MetaMask**.
        2. Enter your preferred **display name**, or tap **Decide for me**.
        3. Tap **Continue**.

      <Step title="Step 4: Approve the Connection">
        1. MetaMask will prompt you to approve the connection request.
        2. Review the details carefully.
        3. Tap **Approve**.

      <Step title="Step 5: You're All Set">
        1. Your MetaMask wallet is now connected to Incentiv.
        2. You can explore the ecosystem, complete transactions, and start earning rewards.

      For the smoothest experience, always access the Incentiv Portal from inside the MetaMask in-app browser after switching to the Incentiv network.

  <Tab title="Connect using WalletConnect">
    <Warning>
      This is not available in the current version of the Mainnet
    </Warning>

    Use **WalletConnect** if you prefer to link a mobile wallet like Trust Wallet, Rainbow, or MetaMask Mobile.

    Everything starts at the [Incentiv Portal](https://portal.incentiv.io)

      <Step title="Step 1: Start the Connection">
        On the welcome screen, choose **WalletConnect** as your preferred wallet option.

        This allows you to securely connect any mobile wallet that supports the protocol.

      <Step title="Step 3: Approve the Connection">
        You will now see a progress screen showing that the system is waiting for your wallet connection.

        Keep this window open while your wallet connects.

      <Step title="Step 4: Scan and Connect">
        1. A **QR code** will appear.
        2. Open your preferred mobile wallet (such as **Trust Wallet**, **Rainbow**, or **MetaMask Mobile**), select **WalletConnect**, and scan the code to approve.
